This workshop is limited to 9 participants.

10-14 days before the workshop, you will receive another email with photography tips regarding the workshop and more specific workshop details. We are also going to include a waiver/photo release for you to sign. About a week after the workshop you will receive video(s) on how to process the photos you captured during the workshop.

Workshop Information

This night photography workshop is aimed towards beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill levels. We will provide you with a tip sheet before the workshop. During the workshop, we will help you with the settings and verify that your photographs are perfectly in focus and we will light paint the bristlecone pines for you. We also make sure your compositions are on point. After the workshop, we will send you a basic processing video.

The meeting location is in Fairplay, Colorado. From there we will drive you to the photography location. Therefore, this workshop is limited to 6 participants. We are starting out with the sunset, and once it is completely dark around 10PM, we will photograph the Milky Way.

Parking is close to the locations where we will be photographing but here is some walking at high altitude. There are no restrooms at the location.

Wednesday night, August 24th, 2022 will be used as a backup date in case the weather conditions are very bad and do not permit us to hold the workshop on Tuesday night.
