Workshop Information

Are you ready to capture a wonderful sunset and then the beauty of the Milky Way in all its glory? This photography workshop is aimed towards beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill levels. We will provide you with a tip sheet before the workshop. During the workshop, we will help you with the settings and verify that your photographs are perfectly in focus and we will light paint the bristlecone pines for you. We also make sure your compositions are on point. After the workshop, we will discuss post-processing during a Zoom meeting.

The meeting location is in Fairplay, Colorado. From there we will drive you to the photography location. Therefore, this workshop is limited to 9 participants. We are starting out with the sunset, and once it is completely dark around 10PM, we will photograph the Milky Way.

We will be parking close to the location where we will be photographing the Milky Way. There is no strenuous hiking. There is no official restroom in the area.
