Are you ready to capture the beauty of the Milky Way in all its glory? Our night photography workshop is aimed towards beginner and intermediate skill levels. We will provide you with a tip sheet before the workshop. During the workshop, experienced photographers will help you with the settings and verify that your photographs are perfectly in focus. We also make sure your compositions are on point. After the workshop, we will discuss post-processing during a Zoom meeting.
We have permission to go on a private property with a picturesque windmill for this workshop. We will get a variety of photos with the Milky Way perfectly framed behind the windmill and can also capture the Milky Way over an infinity dirt road. With hands-on experience and personalized instruction, you will leave this workshop with the skills and knowledge to capture the Milky Way like a pro.
We will be parking right next to the location where we will be photographing the Milky Way. There is no strenuous hiking. There is no restroom in this area.
This workshop includes a Zoom class on Sunday April 23rd at 3PM. It will take about 2 to 3 hours. During the class, we will go over some post-processing ideas and examples. We will also answer any questions you might have. There will also be a recording of the Zoom class in case you are not able to make it.
