The workshop will end after sunset which is around 8:30PM. There will be an extended lunch break in Silverton in the middle of the day to eat and take a nap.
This includes a 2-3 hour long Zoom class a few days after the workshop. The date of the Zoom class is yet to be determined.
Where:
We meet in Silverton, Colorado. From there we will carpool and the instructors will drive you to the photography locations.

Workshop Information
Join us for an unforgettable one-day Colorado Wildflower Photography Workshop! Our group is going to meet in beautiful Silverton, Colorado. From there, we will drive you to our favorite wildflower locations in this area. With just three participants per instructor, we will make sure you will capture amazing images and learn new photography skills. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to improve your skills and create lasting memories.
The photography adventure day will be packed with numerous locations. There will be an extended lunch break in Silverton that also allows some time for a nap. We will be parking close to the locations where we will be photographing and there is no strenuous hiking involved. We will send you tip sheets with useful photography knowledge regarding this trip before the workshop.
Zoom Class
This workshop includes a Zoom class. The exact date and time of the Zoom class is yet to be determined. During the class, we will go over some post-processing ideas and examples. We will also answer any questions you might have. There will also be a recording of the Zoom class in case you are not able to make it.
Saturday, Sunday?
You can book either day individually or you have the option to book both days. We will visit some of the same locations each day but often these locations can look completely different just a day apart with changing weather. The Zoom class will be combined for both groups.
What you need
- Camera
- General zoom lenses in the 14-35mm or 24-105mm range are recommended
- A tripod is very useful for focus stacking
- Extra batteries as these are very long days of photography
- Headlamp/Flashlight to walk around and find gear before sunrise or after sunset
- Snacks and water
- Layered clothing. Rain gear is always good to have just in case.

Refund Policy
Our photography workshops have limited seating and often sell out in advance. Refunds are given if the participant cancels up to 14 days prior to the scheduled workshop. All refunds are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Weather Policy
Our photography workshops usually take place rain or shine and we are always trying to make the most out of each situation. In the event of severe weather that may affect the safety of our participants, we would cancel the workshop and full refunds would be issued.
